AGM / Awards Evening - July 7th 7.30pm Winsford Civic Hall
Yes! It’s that time of year again and enclosed is your ticket order form. Also there is a form for you to nominate any person(s) in your group who may like to join the CTG Committee. What does this involve? We have approximately 7 meetings – in Middlewich or Northwich (chair or secretaries homes) starting at 8pm and usually ending around 9.30 when we have a light supper and some chit chat – lighting boards and computers seem favourite topics!!. These meetings are only held when we have something to discuss or arrange so full attendance is expected. Interested? Have you something to offer the CTG – ideas for courses perhaps or would you just like being more closely involved in CTG affairs?
The CTG Committee has remained unchanged for may years and although all are willing to continue we are not a “closed shop” to new people and ideas – don’t be shy – please consider joining us.
Trophies
I will need to collect these for re-engraving so a special polish before you part with them would be a help (would you like the job of cleaning 15 cups / salvers etc on July 6th – the day before they appear before you in glittering splendour on our awards table?) I will be in touch with holders – please make sure theya re easily accessible.

Did you have a stunning poster this season? Why not enter this into our competition – it could be the winner. These should be posted without delay to:- Mrs M. Melville 24 Forest Close, Cuddington, Northwich, Cheshire, CW8 2EE.
Extracts on AGM Night
How do we choose these? By rotation so groups you will see this time have not been asked since 1998/99. Our adjudicator has no influence at all so if you see a winning performance, or play that’s pure coincidence.

Our stage manager who will be ensuring a smooth evening and a finish no later than 10.30pm will be Bob Nixon. A formidable task – just one of the perks of being a committee member! |
