Founded in 1946, SALE NOMADS THEATRE CLUB moved to their current home in 1963. Extensive building over the last 35 years has given us a 72 seat studio theatre, a comfortable bar and lounge, a smaller rehearsal room with kitchen, a large workshop and an extensive wardrobe store. We present two plays a year at the clubhouse studio theatre and now, with the opening of the 350 seat Robert Bolt Theatre in the Trafford Arts Centre which replaces the old Sale Civic Theatre, we once more have a home for larger shows. These include our famous January Pantomime (10 performances including 4 matinees) and a large-scale play or musical production each May. We also have as full a social life as time allows. The clubhouse bar is open on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and we organise one-act plays, quizzes and cabaret nights. Our schedule also includes fund-raising for a chosen charity each year. All visitors are welcome, whether as audience or as potential members.
