Ashton Heyes Theatre Club was formed in 1958 by Kay
Mc Claren for "the performing of plays of artistic merit". The club
performs 3 plays each year./ Our "home" is Ashton and Mouldsworth
Village Hall, because of the nature of this building we are able to stage plays
in an exciting variety of ways, from traditional proscenium arch through to in
the round and even promenade productions. There are numerous social activities., often with a
theme, and with a good reputation for an enjoyable night out and good food.
During the summer members also arrange a variety of social events - from croqet
to country walking. The fabric of the village hall has deteriorated over the
years and plans are in hand for major renovations and improvements. 24.03.2008 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
